Today we are proud to announce our newest arrivals at Team YoYoTech; it comes in the form of a new Crysis 2 team. These guys have previously been known as "Crysisters" to the Crysis eSports world. The team will be attending the world's first competitive Crysis 2 event at i42  by Multiplay starting on the 22nd April this year.

The game comes out on March 25th this gives the team roughly a month to prepare for i42, as the game is so new it will give all teams that enter the competition a great chance grabbing a top spot. However those teams that have played the original Crysis will have the slight advantage as they will know how the game operates in general in the competition layout.

The team are hoping that Crysis 2 takes off within the eSports scene and they will be competiting within all of the online cups and leagues as they come along. Since the demo was released in mid February, it has been recognised by ESL as a potential game to profit and create new leagues from; this gives our team more opportunities and hope that Crysis 2 will become a top game, along with Team Fortress 2, Call of Duty 4, Trackmania and Starcraft 2. 

Statement by Jake "Toxieman" Butler - Team Leader: 

Crysis 2 is set to be a competitive new game to hit the eSports world. The game involves strategic thinking as well as skilful aiming and great teamwork/communication. It's a good sign to see YoYoTech be one of the first major UK organisations to pick up a team, which we appreciate and I have no doubt that we will make them proud! We will be attending the upcoming i42 event in a month’s time - which will be one of the first big tests for us where hopefully we can show that we belong at the top of the

UK scene. We are aiming to win the event, as well as other European LAN events when announced in the near future. ESL has also expressed their interest by supporting leagues and tournaments for the game in a few weeks time, which we will also be regularly competing in. Our team consists of players from all different competitive backgrounds, each knowing what it takes to get to the top of their respective game. We also get along well out of game which is a vital element to any aspiring team. I think that with the support from YoYoTech and sponsors I am sure that we will become a major contender for the European Crysis scene.
