YoYoTech Welcome Former Blight Gaming - New COD4 Team for YoYoTech
News written by srgy - 25 Tuesday 2011 - 22:29gmt

We are delighted to announce our pick up of a new Call of Duty 4 team to represent us for 2011 and hopefully beyond. With new LANS and online events being announced on a regular basis, we felt that is was in our best interests to maintain our involvement in the higher levels of Call of Duty 4 community. Therefore we are more than happy to have acquired the ex Blight Gaming line up.

The basis of the team has been together for a considerable time with their most recent online achievement, a well deserved 4th place at DSRACK#3 LAN at the back end of last year, resulting in them achieving a respectable 6th place in the latest Tek-9 rankings.

So please join me in welcoming the guys to the organisation

YoYoTech.cod4 is now

 Juho “juho O” Sihvo
 Kusti “k1mi” V
 Roope “robez” Iias
 Sasu “saruz” Salakka
 Ville "rEplan" Ijäs
Valtteri “fekuj” Immonen – Manager/Back up

Statement: Mark Kearns

With our old COD4 team departing the organisation a few days ago, myself and Scott have wasted no time in deciding on the new team we want to work with for 2011. My old granddad used to tell me “never look a gift horse in the mouth” and I feel this is very apt in this situation.

When a team like Mlfp / EX Blight becomes available and you are looking for a new team it doesn’t take much to put the two together. We have had very pleasant discussions with the guys over the past few days and I am happy to report that our expectations for 2011 and theirs were closely matched. A top 10 team of proven LAN players will do YoYoTech very nicely thank you.

I am especially looking forward to seeing those spectacular bounce shots in the LAN events to come this year, as we strive to work with the team to build upon their very solid foundations.

Big shout out to YoYoTech, Tt Esports, Intel and Kingston for their continued support.Cheers.

Statement Valtteri “Fekuj” Immonen

After leaving Blight we got immediately contacted by Team YoYoTech, it turned out the deal they were offering was exactly what we wanted and knowing the fact they’re a nice bunch of guys, we decided to combine our strengths. We’re going to attend as many offline-events as possible and represent the name of YoYoTech by the best way we can. I’d like to thank our sponsors YoYotech, Thermaltake, Tt Esports, Kingston and Intel.
